We all know exercise is important… but let’s be real for a second. Between kids, work, schedules, and the million tiny things that need us every day, finding time to move your body can feel downright impossible some days. 🤪

But here’s the thing I keep coming back to: taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s essential.

When you prioritize movement, you’re not just doing something good for you. You’re boosting your energy, protecting your health, and showing your kids what it looks like to care for your body. You’re staying strong for them—and that matters more than we sometimes realize. 💪

Over the years, I’ve tried a little bit of everything. Zumba classes that made me laugh, Wall Pilates in my living room, and good old-fashioned weightlifting at the gym. What I’ve learned is this: it doesn’t matter what you do. It only matters that it works for your life and makes you feel good.

Movement doesn’t have to be extreme or perfect. It just has to be yours.

So here’s your gentle reminder: find something you enjoy—even if it feels small—and put it on your calendar. Treat it like an essential appointment, because it is. 😉 When you take care of yourself, you show up as a better version of you for everyone else.

And if you’re local to St. Louis, I’d love for you to join me—or check out Burn Boot Camp. It’s an incredible community, and having a place (and people) that support you makes showing up so much easier.

At the end of the day, taking care of yourself isn’t about doing more—it’s about honoring yourself. And you deserve that.
