Lately I’ve been in that phase where by the end of the day… I’m just done. 🫠 So instead of trying to do more, I’ve been simplifying everything—and finding a few things that actually make it easier to take care of myself (without adding more to my plate). I shared what’s been working for me lately, including a couple products I’ve been using on repeat because they’re just that easy. Skipped the gym today and I’m not happy about it… but there was no way I was making it through athletic conditioning with allergies hitting like they did this morning. 🫠 Tried to get some exercise and went for a walk anyway… in peak pollen, obviously. So now my throat is more scratchy, my ears hurt, and my eyes won’t stop watering. Spring in St. Louis: where you choose between your workout or your ability to breathe. 🤪
Thanking my future self for today 🙌 We made three sourdough pizzas for dinner tonight and stocked the freezer with five more for later. Such a good feeling knowing those are ready to go on a busy night. Bonus: we used up a bunch of random extras from the week—ham, rotisserie chicken, onions, and pepperoni. Nothing fancy, just really good and easy. Definitely doing this again.

This time of year makes it feel like we should be doing a full spring clean, but let’s be honest—that’s not always realistic. 😅 Instead, I’ve been focusing on a few quick resets that actually make my days run smoother (without spending hours cleaning). Took our golf skills out for a little real-life practice at Tower Tee today ⛳️ Grateful for time like this with my sister—lots of laughs, a few solid shots, and just a good break in the middle of a busy week. We always have the best time together. Do you like to go golfing, or what’s your favorite way to get outside this time of year?
My trainer challenged us today to set a goal for the week, and honestly… I needed that. I’ve been off my walking routine for a bit because my foot pain flared up, and taking that break was necessary. But my feet have been feeling better for about a week now… so it felt like time to get back to it. I set a simple goal: walk at least one mile every day this week. Got out today by myself, listened to an audiobook, and just took it all in for a bit—and I’m really glad I did. Sometimes it’s not about doing something big, just getting back into something that makes you feel like you again. What’s one goal you’re setting for yourself this week? 💜
